Nanoworx 💛 Beeward

The team at Nanoworx believes in the power of rewards, so they surprised some of their partners with a beeward pack. 🎁

Where did you first encounter beeward and what attracted you to it?
We found out about beeward through a good friend and started testing it in-house straight away. What we liked about it was that performance appraisal immediately becomes a game, and things that would otherwise not be rewarded by an employer can be evaluated. For example, if colleagues help each other with a project at work, take each other to the mechanic, or just make each other a coffee, it builds community and accumulates points.

The beeward allows you to appreciate things that would otherwise not be included in a traditional reward system.

What is your most popular beeward reward?
The racquetball rental is very popular, but many people also like to buy their own soda flask. I did include some nonsense, such as the recent reward for washing someone's car with my own hands. I made sure I got a lot of points for it...

Do you have a favourite story or anecdote about beeward?
Interestingly, even before we introduced beeward, we were already talking about how we would like to reward each other for unloading the dishwasher or cleaning the coffee machine. So the need was there for a long time.

I love the gifs in it. That's one of my favorite features!

What is it that you think business leaders today often get wrong in the area of performance appraisal/reward?

There are many ways to deal with people. Some people are motivated by money, while others require more care and dialogue from their leaders. The little things are also important: this is the first time in 6 years that an employee has left our company. We celebrated her in a fitting way, we opened champagne and I gave a speech. We need these gestures in addition to the pay.
